Repsol Toyota Rally Team on the verge of the top 20 after the fourth stage
Repsol Toyota Rally Team shines in the Rallye du Maroc: Isidre Esteve and his co-driver, Txema Villalobos, completed an amazing comeback in the third stage, showing that, according to the driver, “what matters is how you finish, not how you start.”
Starting in 70th place, the team climbed into the top 20 by the end of day, finishing 25th overall in the special, and 18th in T1.
This achievement is due, in part, to the Toyota Hilux T1+'s excellent performance and the team as a whole. We must also mention that 75% of the team's cars use Renewable Fuels, made from organic waste and with net zero emissions, offering a similar performance to conventional fuels.
The role of the Repsol Master Racing 0W-40 lubricant was also key in the high performance of the Toyota Hilux T1+, contributing to its efficiency and durability throughout this demanding competition.
Isidre Esteve was clearly delighted after the stage and emphasized that they are ready to take on the challenges over the coming days. This comeback by the Repsol Toyota Rally Team not only highlights the team's skill, but also the importance of having high-quality technology and products in international rally competitions.
By making an impressive leap in the general ranking, the team is 32nd overall and 22nd in T1, leaving their mark on the Rallye du Maroc. Now they are ready for the next big challenge: Dakar 2024. The 46th edition of the iconic rally-raid event will be held from January 5 to 19, in Saudi Arabia.
